Can Thunderstorms Trigger Asthma Attacks?

A new study from Australia has found a correlation between asthma symptoms and the airflow patterns of thunderstorms.

“We believe that as [a] thunderstorm passes over the land, it kicks up grass pollen grains, which move up into the atmosphere, and then are forced down in a down draft” in a phenomenon called an outflow, lead author Dr. Guy B. Marks of the University of Sydney, told Reuters Health.


Study Shows How St. John’s Wort Blocks Drugs
